Hello!

My name is Melinda and I live in Adelaide, South Australia – which, as the locals would say, is Heaps Good. I am a wife to Chris and a Mum of our two outrageously beautiful teenage boys. I worked in the IT Industry for more than 20 years and spent those days largely surrounded by nerdy men and computers.

A combination of years of sleep deprivation (my youngest just would not sleep!), the toxicity of hustle culture and an career that required constantly swimming against the relentless tide of  misogyny, culminated in me becoming chronically ill with Ehlers Danlos and Psoriatic Arthritis. Managing them became a job on its own! 

Aside from  managing my family and the demands of my body I like to crochet, memory keep, journal, get messy with paint, take photographs, decorate cakes and lots of other creative things (some of them involving glitter).

I am creative in all sorts of ways – and it turns out a lot of them are useful. That’s why they are all here on my blog.
